I’m a 3x fintech founder and builder with 8 years of experience launching tech products and ecosystems across Africa.
I founded Ghana’s first digital bank startup, BezoMoney. We raised $1.3 million, got into Techstars Silicon Valley and Google for Startups, and partnered with Visa, Vodafone, and major banks in Ghana.
BezoMoney was acquired by Exo AI, where I joined as a co-founder. Exo AI (“OpenAI for Africa”) is building Africa’s first foundational AI model trained on African languages, economies, and real-world contexts. Its flagship product, Exo, is an agentic AI-powered personal finance assistant.
I went on to build NylaBank, Africa’s first digital Islamic bank to lead the ethical banking revolution. We closed an oversubscribed pre-seed round and are building a new kind of financial experience for underserved communities, grounded in ethical financial principles.
I am also building Farabi AI, an open-source side project exploring ethical credit scoring with AI. It looks at how responsibly sourced alternative data can improve fairness and transparency in lending while helping expand credit access.
I’ve worked with Harvard through the FIELD Global Immersion Program, served on selection and advisory committees like Halcyon’s Equitytech and Summit Impact, and spoken at places like Brown University and Milken Institute.
My work has been featured in TechCrunch, the BBC, and in Times Square.
I studied Biological Sciences with a major in Biotechnology. But I’ve always been more obsessed with how systems grow, how people think, and how products can shift culture.
I work across strategy, design, growth, partnerships, and team building. My strengths are hyper optimism, sustained focus, creative intuition, resilience, and building high-performing teams with strong culture.
